Research in Motion is facing some hefty competition from mobile platforms like Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android but thanks to their business oriented practices, they have managed to retain their fair share of the market.
That share looks to continue growing thanks to the recent release of their brand new BlackBerry 6 mobile operating platform which brings with it a more streamlined user interface and a web browser based on WebKit.
Another reason that Research in Motion will continue doing good is thanks to the amount of handsets it actually has on the market. Today, a picture of a forthcoming device named the BlackBerry Bold 9780 has surfaced. Now, while we’ve seen pictures of this device before this new picture shows us that RIM will release the Bold 9780 with a sleek white finish – much like they did with the original BlackBerry Bold.
No word on when this special white edition BlackBerry Bold 9780 will be out, if ever, but we’ll keep you posted.
