I found this awesome lockscreen on Cydia yesterday, with a little help from AtomicMufin on Twitter. It’s called TypoPhone 4 and it’s basically a lockscreen theme that shows the time and date in large bold letters. It also contains this cool unlock slider. You can download it from Cydia and activate it with Winterboard.
To have it look exactly like the image above, you’ll also need to download Lockscreen Clock Hide from Cydia, which like the name suggests, hides the clock on your iPhone. Read More

CallTell is a new jailbreak app that will tell you who’s calling before your phone starts ringing. If the person who’s calling is in your contacts, it will just say his name. How cool is that? The app also works with text messages and can go as far as reading the text message to you!
CallTell only works on the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4. All options can be enabled/disabled within the Settings.app.

Are you tired of using the “Slide to Unlock” thingy on your iPhone to get access to its homescreen? Then VUnlock might the jailbreak app you’ve been waiting for. VUnlock allows you to use the volume button of your iPhone to unlock the screen.
Using the volume key to access your phone might be a faster way than turning on the screen and swiping your finger across. The downside is you might accidentally unlock your iPhone more often now it’s just one push of a button away.
At any rates, VUnlock is the kind of easy and simple mod that just aims at making your life a bit easier, and we love these. It’s available for free in Cydia.

 Cydia is a great place to hang out, and we’re sure unlocking is pretty swell, but it’s quite possible you and your freshly-rooted iPhone 4 have already run out of fun things to do. In that case, might we suggest giving Frash a try? That’s right, Comex’s Strong Bad-inspired port of Adobe Flash 10.1 has been compiled once again, and though it’s still an alpha build there’s nothing keeping you from experiencing the joys of animated advertising on your iOS 4 device. Instructions are exactly the same as in our Flash how-to for iPad — jailbreak, download the .deb, upload it to CydiaAutoInstall on your phone via SSH, restart and you’re done — but if that sounds like too much work or you’re worried about your phone asploding prematurely, you can watch from a safe distance as Homestar Runner struts his stuff.
