I have seen a lot of painting programs for the iPad, such as ArtRage 3, and this program, Remote Palette, is used in tandem with an iPhone like that Scrabble game.
So, in artist terms, the iPhone becomes a Palette, and the iPad becomes a canvas. This iPad app from Dare labs, and it actually doesn’t require an iPhone for the Palette to make it work.
You can see a video of it at my Source link, and it can be purchased at the iTunes store for just $0.99.

The last time we were talking about INQ, they could be working on a Facebook phone with Android.
I have just learned from INQ’s CEO Frank Meehan that the company plans to put Spotify on their new cellphone. Spotify enables the user to search as well as play tracks from a massive catalog via 3G or WiFi. Subscribers should be able to download over 3,333 song directly to their phones.
Considering that the INQ Chat 3G comes with Twitter, Facebook, and Skype, it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch, does it?

Not much is known about Gingerbread, the Version 3.0 of Android, but I have recently heard that it will be equipped for video calling.
Andy Rubin has stated that:
We support video chat today, with Google Talk Video. It works on the desktop. Whether that can be repurposed and made appropriate for sipping bandwidth for mobile, it’s an exercise that’s underway.
This is a pretty good point about video conferencing available for Android versions 2.0 and greater. I can only assume that version 3.0 could be built for it. This is assuming that anyone wants Facetime-style video conferencing.

As is generally the case on Thursdays, we’re going neck deep into the depths of the Apple App Store to see what interesting things we can bring your way. Today’s review target is 5-0 Radio, a scanner application that lets you follow all the police drama in your hometown, or anywhere else, for that matter.
Once you’ve loaded the app, you’ll get a whole bunch of choices–the ability to browse scanner feeds, select from the top one hundred scanner feeds or pick from a panoply of other features. You’ll interact with all these browsing options by way of a reel-style menu that basically lets you roll the screen downward and upward until you find the scanner feed you want to listen to, or the closest to it. Don’t worry if you live in a small town and don’t think you’d be able to get your scanner, as I live in a particular smallish little burg and my county sheriff’s office was on the list.
The upshots here are surprisingly many. The app is extraordinarily easy to use, the interface is smooth and clean and downright simple to handle, and if you want to listen to a police scanner on your iPhone or iPod Touch, then this is a great place to do exactly that. And besides all that, the app is free. That makes this an incredible app, except for two points.
One, you need to be online to use this. There’s no other way, and that makes sense. It’s basically just a giant streaming app, so of course you need an internet connection. And two, all it does is patch you into a police scanner. Nothing else. So you definitely have to have an interest in listening in on local law enforcement to get a lot of value out of this one.
And if you do want to keep up with your local constabulary, then 5-0 Radio is going to be a great choice to make that happen.
The Good
Feeds from around the world
Easy to use
Free
The Bad
Must have an internet connection to use it
Only listens to police scanners
Score 7 / 10

Motorola has really been on a roll lately in terms of smartphone releases. Not only have they had the Droid, Droid 2 and Droid X on Verizon, but they’ve also been releasing devices on the side like the Motorola i1 which we just recently told you about.
Another device the company has up their sleeve is the Motorola Defy. This device features Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR, an 800MHz processor, a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, and 2GB of built-in storage. However, that’s not what makes this device unique. What does make this device unique is its ability to withstand a beating such as being dropped in water or being dropped from a distance.
We’ve already told you that the Motorola Defy would be coming to T-Mobile in time for this holiday season but it seems our German friends don’t hvae to wait. In fact, it was made known that the Motorola Defy is now available in Germany for 350 euros off contract or as low as 1 euro with a contract.
Anyone looking to pick this up?
