I found this awesome lockscreen on Cydia yesterday, with a little help from AtomicMufin on Twitter. It’s called TypoPhone 4 and it’s basically a lockscreen theme that shows the time and date in large bold letters. It also contains this cool unlock slider. You can download it from Cydia and activate it with Winterboard.
To have it look exactly like the image above, you’ll also need to download Lockscreen Clock Hide from Cydia, which like the name suggests, hides the clock on your iPhone. Read More
It seems like I can’t quit writing about Best Buy today. First there was that possibility of that Rocketfish tablet, then what they are doing to prepare for the tablet PC overload this holiday season. And I thought Future Shop was the only major retailer to get online today.
In fact, I can’t help but wonder if Best Buy and Future Shop are related, as their Press Release looks so much alike and offer the exact same features. I might be betraying some serious ignorance here, but as I stated in another post I wrote today, I’m not Canadian.
Needless to say, Best Buy has come to the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices. It is apparently the first of its kind from a Canadian retailer.
This will allow consumers to browse and search the entire catalog, as well as get enlarged views, reviews, and ratings. You can find out more information on the official Press Release after the jump.

This is Super Badminton 2010, a fairly successful App that came out on the iPhone, and it has just got iteslf an update for the iPad.
It is made by Indian company Rolocule games, and it uses a virtual joystick or tilting to do a slam on the the birdie or shuttlecock. You can pick up to 8 players, 3 different tournaments, and win trophies.
You should be able to get it for the iPhone and iPad for about $4.99.
In the crowded sea of gaming apps in the App Store, there are a few that stand out that epitomize simple iPhone gaming. Taking simple simple accelerometer controls and the cool neon and black graphics that we’ve seen in so many games now, Blue Defense sort of set the standard for simple app gaming.
Cat In A Box Games is now coming out with the sequel, called Blue Defense – Second Wave. The sequel takes all that made the first game so great, and adds on some features that will make it any better.
Now there will be 4 game modes, a new weapon, multitouch targeting, two enemy factions to fight against, and 64 levels to fight your way through… that is if you don’t want to play the classic Infinite mode.
With all of the new updates, it’s hard to imagine that the game will retain its simple nature, but judging on how well the other games in the series have fared (Blue Attack, Red Conquest), I think it will do just fine. It may not be the simplistic game that we used to love, but I’m sure that it will still hang around on our iOS device of choice for just as long.
There is no release date or word on the pricing yet, but we’ll be sure to make a big fuss when the game finally arrives.
Be sure to check after the jump for some more screenshots… they look mighty fine.
Park Rush HD will have you frantically racing through a parking lot to park and retrieve cars for customers with a short fuse.
The game launches with you choosing either Johnny or Lilian to manage the parking lot. Customers begin to appear who need their car safely relocated. The line slowly grows with people—many of whom look the same. Yet another line begins to appear on the other side of the screen as customers return to reclaim their car.
Unfortunately for you, the drivers exhibit in Park Rush HD are quick to lose their cool. If their cars are not returned quickly enough, your customers begin to turn red and emit steam from their boiling noggins. (…) Read the rest of Rule the Lot with Park Rush HD
