Microsoft’s Kinect motion sensing controller for Xbox 360 is looking to revolutionize the way we play games by utilizing a 3D camera capable of tracking a user’s entire body along with voice and facial recognition. Now, it’s not exactly mobile but it does get you up and off the couch so that’s a bit of mobility there for you, eh?
Anyways, we’ve known for quite some time that Kinect would be hitting North American shelves sometime in early November but our friends across the pond in Europe haven’t had the luxury. Instead, they’ve been left generally in the dark when it comes to a release date for the Kinect motion controller.
Today, however, it was announced that Europe will in fact be getting Kinect on August 10th, 2010. The Middle East and Africa will be getting the controller on the same day, as well. As for a price, well, we have confirmed that its £130 in the UK so perhaps that price will translate into the other mentioned regions as well.

HTC is all set to get Android 2.2, 720p video, and iTunes Sync, and it will launch from U.S. Cellular on August 27th.
Just to refresh your memory, it has a 3.7 inch touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, integrated GPS, 5 Megapixel camera, and WiFi. I’m not certain whether it will come pre-loaded with Froyo (Android 2.2) but it looks like it will at least have version 2.1.
I’m also not certain of the pricing at this point.
