This is Samurai, and it is a game that takes place in feudal Japan where you play a person dreaming of becoming Shogun and eventually Emperor.

Designed by Reiner Knizia, it is quite similar to Carcassonne, a turn-based board game App that we reported on a while ago.

Players can battle against their friends, and against the AI. You should be able to get this game for about $4.99.

Last time I was in LA, I didn’t get a chance to see the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Fortunately, there’s an App…you know the rest.

The Walk of Fame App is a resource and information about all of the 2,400 stars on that Walk of fame. It will give you information on ethnicity, place of birth, month of birth, and will also tell you new star inductions.

You should be able to get it for about $1.99, for more Hollywood people, you can get the imdb App.

This is Solipskier, which is a skiing app different from other skiing games, and it is done with one-finger touch controls.

You don’t use your finger to control the skier, but rather the terrain. Yes, that is different than most skiing games, but by controlling the terrain, you are affecting the skiier’s path.

I don’t know about you, but I think this looks pretty addicting. You should be able to get Solipskier for iOS for $2.99, and it is coming soon to Android.

One of the things I like to do on the Wii is put photos on it and mix them up in puzzle form.

If you are an Android user, you can use this App known as Jigz Lite, a Jigsaw Puzzle Maker that allows you to create jigsaw puzzles from your own picture.
