500x samsung tab cdma 280x210 Samsung Galaxy Tab for Sprint or Verizon? There has been a CDMA version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. This is not the one that has appeared on video, but the Tab is already successful without being released yet, and even has its own line of accessories.

Does this mean that a 3G version of it will show up on Sprint or Verizon? It certainly looks that way. We know that it runs on Android 2.2.

It also has Flash, which is, of course, important for an iPad. Well, I don’t have a release date or price for now.

samsungepic4g Samung Epic 4G Said To Have No GPS Issues

With the gadget touting population growing larger each and every day hardware manufacturers are forced to up their supply to keep up with demand. This isn’t a bad thing especially not for the mobile phone industry but it can spell disasters in extreme cases. Due to the high volume of hardware, the chance of something going wrong with at least an isolated number of units is larger. I don’t even have to tell you about the iPhone 4 deathgrip lost cellular reception issue as you’ve probably already heard about it a million times.

The Samsung Galaxy S too has a confirmed problem with the device’s GPS functionality. User reports suggest the device has a flaw chipped or bug in the software that causes the reception to be lackluster and service performanec sub par.

Luckily, Sprint’s version of the Galaxy S, the Epic 4G, doesn’t seem to have such a problem. Samsung has announced that they have tested and validated the GPS found within the Epic 4G meaning it won’t run into those nasty problems that the Galaxy S suffered from. Of course, you’re going to have to wait until August 31st when the Epic 4G drops on Sprint to actually test that out yourself.

samsungepic4g Samsung Epic 4G Launching August 11th?

While T-Mobile and AT&T users have been enjoying their Samsung Galaxy S handsets in the Vibrant and Captivate variations, respectively, both Sprint and Verizon consumers have not been so lucky. However, it has been known that the Galaxy S is coming to Sprint in the form of the Epic 4G for some time now. Unfortuantely, we havent had any confirmation as to when the device will be released but today we have some hints.

Accoding to rumors, Sprint stores will be opening early on August 11th for the launch of Samsung’s Epic 4G.

If you’re not familiar with the Epic 4G, it’s essentially the same thing as the Galaxy S but with added 4G connectivity and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
